Joyce Buquet Galliano is survived by her first husband, Anthony “Tony” Galliano of Houma; one son, Stephen Galliano and wife, Nessie, of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Karen Galliano Caro and husband, Byron, of Houma; one brother, Morris Buquet Jr. of Marrero; three sisters, Gertrude Allen of Labadieville and Ann Buquet and Judy Buquet of Marrero; and two grandchildren

She was 59, a native of Marrero and resident of Houma, when she died at 4:10 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2002. Visitation and mass was at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and burial in the St. Louis Cemetery.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Annabell Grabert Pellerin; stepfather, Ernest Pellerin; father, Morris Buquet Sr.; and stepmother, Laura Buquet

She was manager of Bob’s Bayou Black Marina for 15 years and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church.
