One thousand eight hundred and ninety personally appeared before me a Notary Public within and for the County and State aforesaid Mrs. Carolina Stumpe who being duly sworn according to the law declares that she resides in Washington, County of Franklin, State of Missouri. Carolina Stumpe of lawful age being duly sworn upon her oath declares and says that on the 14th day of December 1865 she entered into a contract of marriage with Henry J. Stumpe now dec’d that she is the widow of said Henry J. Stumpe that she is single and unmarried that the children born as issue of the marriage aforesaid are William who was born on the 8th day of March 1871, Ida who was born on the 19th day of Feby 1874, Emma who was born on the 14th of November 1876, Louis who was born on 16th Jany 1880.
