• survived by two daughters and their husbands, Clara and Donald Theriot and Linda and Glynn Rhodes; one sister, Pearl Maye Butler Rybiski; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jeffrey and Wendy Theriot, Annette and Victor Blanchard, and Donnell and Jason DeSandro; and seven great grandchildren, Justin, Brady, and Lauren Theriot, Claire Blanchard, and Collin, Devin, and Carly DeSandro

• preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Vincent “Joe” Brocato; her parents, Richard and Clara Lacoze Butler; five brothers, Horace, J. Clarence, Charlie, Floyd, and Eugene Butler; and one sister, Beaulah C. Butler

• resident of Raceland and a native of Woodworth; involved with Daughters, the A.A.R.P., Woodmen of the World, the Italian Society, and the Homemaker’s Club; loved flowers and travel

Carla Ann Dominique

• age 37 years, a native and resident of Lockport, died on March 15, 2005

• mass of burial was held at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport on March 22

• survived by her parents, Felix and Elaine LeBlanc Dominique, sons Rodney Dufrene and Benjamin Bergeron and brother Chad Dominique

• preceded in death by her brother, Troy Dominique

Susan Faye Gros

• age 48, died June 5 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home

• memorial mass and visitation on June 10 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Ln., Luling, interment at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport

• survived by her son, Randy Gros; her brother, Robert Gros; her sister, Tena Gros; and one grandchild

• preceded in death by her parents, Raymond P. and Hilda L. Gros; and one brother, Russell Gros

Moise J. Landry

• age 80 years, native of Chackbay and resident of Raceland, died on April 2

• mass of burial was held on April 5 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church, followed by interment at St. Hilary Resurrection Memorial Park Mausoleum

• survived by his son, Randy Landry and his wife Karen G., daughter Elaine L. Pierce and husband Nickles, brother Villier Landry, sisters Doris Sanchez, Una Ledet, Annie Matherne and Leona Crochet, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

• preceded in death by his wife, Bella Folse Landry, parents Lucien Felician and Ernestine Rossau Landry, stepmother Marie Vicknair Landry, brothers Wilbert, Ernest and Joseph (Eugene) Landry and sisters Nobie Levron, Mildred (Blanche) Keller, Hazel Landry, Bernice Aucoin and Elise Cheramie

 Edward Joseph Ledet Sr.

• age 62, native of Lockport and resident of Bayou Gauche, died on Sept. 8, 2005

• mass of burial held on Sept. 12 at Samart Funeral Home in Raceland, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery

• survived by his wife of 42 years, Marlene Hebert Ledet, son Edward J. Ledet. Jr., daughters Donna L. Reagan and Rachel L. Cortez, brother Houson Ledet, sisters Betty L. Ordoyne and Clara L. Gros, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild

• preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Emelda Matherne Ledet and brothers Steven and Urie Ledet

Roy “Phil” Robichaux Jr.

• age 53 years, a resident of Raceland, died on March 24, 2005

• mass of burial was held on March 29 at St. Hilary of Poitiers in Mathew, followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland

• survived by his wife, Patricia Thibodaux Robichaux, son Chad P. Robichaux, daughter Stephanie Robichaux Champagne and sister Judy Robichaux Plaisance
