• survived by his parents, Lester Anthony and Edna Hebert Allemand, brother Nathan J. Allemand, sister Dana Margaret Allemand, niece Amanda Allemand and nephew Donavan Allemand

Tammy G. Balliviero

• age 43, born in Boutte and lived in Belle Chasse, died on Jan. 4 from sepsis at Ochsner Foundation Hospital

• funeral was held on Jan. 7 at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey; burial was in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose

• survivors include her husband, Michael D. Balliviero; a son, Quentin M. Balliviero; a daughter, Abbey Balliviero of Luling; a stepson, Joseph A. Balliviero; her father, Buddy Graver of Luling; her mother, Rita Danos Graver; three brothers, Chris, Randy and Todd Graver; and her grandmother, Clarabelle Walker Danos

Milton J. “T-Man” Champagne

• 84 years old, native of Boutte and resident of Paradis, passed away on May 15

• mass of burial was held on May 17 at St. John Catholic Church in Paradis, followed by interment in St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland

• survived by his wife, Fortunate D. Champagne, stepsons Allan and Russell Dufrene and sisters Gladys C. Trauth and Mabel C. Schaubhut

• preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice L. Champagne, stepson Gerald P. Dufrene, brothers Clarence and Wilbert Champagne and sister Mildred C. Laque

Ruffin Lavelle Clark

• 87 years old, native of Ringgold and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on May 16

• religious services were held on Oct. 17 at the Thibodaux Funeral Home, followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery

• survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Dianne Clark and Carolyn Lee Clark Staton, sister Gladys Berry, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six nieces

• preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Lee Saffold Clark, parents Arnold Terrice Clark and Willie Elizabeth Wimberly Clark, brothers Brady and Sydney Clark and sisters Billie Bartlett and Eunice Phillips

Edith Ann Leitz Davaine

• 71 years old, native of New Orleans and resident of Lockport, passed away on Jan. 18

• mass of burial was held on Jan. 21 at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport

• survived by her stepsons, Jesse and Jerry Davaine, daughter Melissa Rose, sister Rita Leitz Kessel Stage, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

• preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Celena Eiswirth Leitz, husband Johnny Davaine and brother Jacob Leitz.

Leta Joy Dufrene

• 72 years old, native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Aug. 27

• religious services were held on Aug. 29 at First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands, followed by interment in Matherne Cemetery

• preceded in death by her parents, Maloney and Clementine Matherne Dufrene, and her brothers, Murphy and Alvin J. Dufrene

• durvived by brothers Raymond, Wilmer, Lloyd and Willis Dufrene and her sisters Alma Sevin and Loretta Landry

Mathilda B. Dufrene

• 83 years old, resident of Hammond and former resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Dec. 25

• religious services were held on Dec. 27 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland

• survived by her son, Lyle Paul Dufrene, daughters JoAnn D. Naquin and Rosaline D. Kozero, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren

• preceded in death by her husband, Dewey John Dufrene, parents Norbert Bourgeois Sr. and Josephine Dufrene Bourgeois, sons Fredrick Joseph Dufrene and Darries Dufrene, brother Norbert Bourgeois Jr. and sisters Willa Mae Badeaux, Lillian Dempster, Orelia Dunn and Julienne Matherne

• 88 years old, native and resident of Raceland, passed away on April 25

• mass of burial was held on April 28 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church in Mathews

• survived by her daughters, Danielle Pierce and Carolyn Legnon, brother Evariste Grabert, Jr., sisters Esther Mayet and Eunice Falgout, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

• preceded in death by her parents, Evariste Grabert Sr. and Lucia Guidry Grabert, brothers Euclid and Hubert Grabert and sister Ada Breaux

Emerson Anthony Gaubert

• mass of burial was held on July 8 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church

• 82 years old, native of Thibodaux and resident of Covington, passed away on July 7

• survived by his daughters, Lorraine Gilardi and Fay Mahlie, brothers Dennis and Irby Gaubert, sisters Eunice Robert, Ethel Keller and Leah Rae Cantrelle, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

• preceded in death by his wife, Cecile Hymel Gaubert, parents Ambrose and Leah Zeringue Gaubert, son Perry Gaubert, brothers Clifford, Lawrence and Norman Gaubert and sister Agnes Adams

Della Rita Labat Gaudet

• 80 years old, native of Raceland and resident of Luling, passed away on April 25

• mass of burial was held on April 28 at St. Mary’s Nativity

• survived by her stepson, Phillip Gaudet III, daughters Henrietta Sommé, Michele Osburn and Aba Sommé, stepdaughter Carol Lesage, brother Guy J. Labat, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

• preceded in death by her first husband, Mitchel Sommé, second husband Phillip Gaudet, Jr., and her parents, Odressie and Henrietta Sapia Labat

Abe “Boog” Hamilton

• age 81, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Feb. 1

• funeral services were held on Feb. 8 with burial at Morristown Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland

• survived by one son, Lawrence Hamilton of Patterson; one daughter, Lisa Hamilton of Des Allemands; four stepdaughters, Barbara Folse of Raceland, Bertha Johnson, Eula Thomas and Shirley Martin, all of Thibodaux; two sisters, Rosa Hamilton of Raceland and Mildred Dabney of New Orleans; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren

• preceded in death by his wife, Mary Young Hamilton, parents James and Lydia Lewis-Hamilton, brothers Eldred, Samuel and Joseph Stewart, and sisters Elizdia Parker, Oliska Burke, Rebecca Mott and Alice Hamilton

Marilyn Ann McCoy

• vsitation held today from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, with services following, interment at Sunlight Cemetery in Gheens

• survived by her father, Rev. Adam McCoy Sr., son Ronald Anthoney McCoy, brothers Adam McCoy Jr., Michale McCoy Sr., Darren McCoy and Dean McCoy, sisters Ether Mae Thorne, Debra Nelson, Janet Murrey, Lisa Williams, Sandra McCoy and two grandchildren

• preceded in death by her mother, Amelia Ingram McCoy

Norman Joseph Robin

• 87 years old, native of Larose and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Feb. 15

• mass of burial was held on Feb. 17 at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church in Larose

• survived by his wife, Nora Toups Robin, sons Floyd and Danny Robin, daughters Nellie McBride and Nora Danos, nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild

Vickie Lynn Badeaux Orgeron Toups

• 38 years old, native of Gheens and resident of St. Charles Parish, passed away on Oct. 11
