- interludes away from Morgan City only made him want to return permanently to Morgan City, where he lived until finally being forced away by hurricane evacuations and their aftermath in 2004, living in Houma for the past two years; during that time he enjoyed visits in Houma and Baton Rouge with his great-granddaughter twins, who were born in August of 2004
