This Society is dedicated to the preservation of the culture of Lower Lafourche Parish. We will make every effort to see that the genealogy and history of our area will be recorded and saved for future generations. We publish a quarterly journal Les Memoires du Bayou Lafourche which fulfills this goal. Our annual dues are $15.00, which includes four quarterly journals. We have complete back issues of the journal available at $10.00 per annual set with the exception of the 1981 issue, which was a single issue at $2.50. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the Galliano Branch Library at 6:00 PM. Guests are welcome.
